Check and Double-Check: Pet Boarding Industry Remains Unregulated

17th November, 2014
Boarding your pets requires the careful investigation of your boarding options and the collection of recommendations from friends, family, and fellow pet owners. However, it’s important to remember that in the large majority of U.S. states, pet boarding facilities are almost completely unregulated. While the American Kennel Club and other organizations have built a strong set of guidelines for boarding facilities, it is completely up to the owners whether to follow them or not. Facilities must meet building codes and safety regulations. But in most states, enclosure sizes, frequency of walks, safety measures for pets, and employee training standards are not closely monitored or required considerations. In other words, how your pet is treated while staying in a boarding facility is determined almost entirely by the staff of that facility. This is why it is critical to conduct an on-site visit to inspect the facility for yourself and to speak with employees to get a feel for how your animals will be treated in your absence. There is no substitute for thorough research when it comes to the health and safety of your pets. Thank you for the peace of mind that my dog is not in discomfort anymore, thank you for this product being organic and good for our dog's ears, and seriously thank you for giving us an option to help our old pup with a product we can afford.

I used this product for my Boston last summer. Worked awesome. In 2 days, I've seen a improvement. Within 4 days, the infection was gone. My pit bull started having an issue with his right ear. It was bad. It was so infected. I used EcoEars twice a day and again it worked like magic!! 4 days have passed and you can't even tell he had an ear issue!! I will never use anything else. This stuff is fantastic!! Thank you Vet Organics for such an amazing product!!
