Beef and Rice Recipe

This recipe provides lean protein from ground beef plus digestible carbohydrates from brown rice. The spinach adds vitamins and minerals.


Ingredients:

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon bone meal powder
- 1 tsp calcium carbonate
- 1 capsule fish oil (for omega-3s)

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain fat.
  2. Add cooked brown rice and spinach to pan. Cook until spinach wilts, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove pan from heat. Mix in olive oil, egg, bone meal and calcium carbonate. 
  4. Portion into containers and top with fish oil capsule contents.
  5. Refrigerate unused portions up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.

Chicken and Vegetable Recipe

Ingredients:  

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 cup peas (fresh or thawed frozen)

- 1 capsule fish oil

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, boil chicken breasts for 15 minutes until cooked through. Shred meat with two forks.

  4. Remove skillet from heat. Mix in bone meal powder.

Salmon and Quinoa Recipe

Ingredients:

- 6 ounces cooked salmon, skinned and boned
